About us

About STROWA

Consulting, project leadership and development under one roof

STROWA GmbH stands for independent SAP consulting with a clear focus on delivery. Our clients work with fixed points of contact who take responsibility.

Our projects range from manufacturing to banking, insurance, hospitals and public administration. The common thread is core processes in SAP that have to work in daily business, in procurement, logistics, production and administration.

For development and delivery peaks we work closely with our partner Exsapt. German-speaking SAP experts from nearshore countries such as Slovakia, Poland and Romania cover development, data migration, testing and consulting, during European working hours and at fair rates.

STROWA is led by Hubert Strohmeier, who has worked in SAP projects for more than three decades as an SAP consultant, SAP project manager and solution architect.

Swiss equipment maker Evatec goes live on SAP Cloud ERP Public in ten months

Evatec, an eastern Swiss manufacturer of thin-film coating systems with around 550 employees, implemented SAP Cloud ERP Public Edition within ten months from contract signing to go-live. The company followed a strict clean-core approach with unified standard processes across all functions and regions rather than adapting the system to existing workflows. SAP S/4HANA Cloud is complemented by SAP Datasphere, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP LeanIX and SAP Signavio. First agent-based AI use cases, such as classifying product master data, are already being tested.

TabPFN-3.5 Plus now available in SAP AI Core

Two months after acquiring Prior Labs, SAP is making the tabular foundation model TabPFN-3.5 Plus available through SAP AI Core. The model delivers predictions directly from structured business data without any training and handles missing values and mixed data types natively. Typical use cases include cash flow forecasting, payment delay prediction, supplier risk scoring and customer churn. CTO Philipp Herzig calls tabular AI the foundation of the Autonomous Enterprise.

Cloud competition observatory moves SAP to yellow over API rules for AI agents

The European Cloud Competition Observatory run by cloud association CISPE has rated SAP yellow in its latest report, signalling growing concerns. The main criticism is the API policy changed in spring, which severely restricts third-party AI agents' access to SAP interfaces and currently grants access only to SAP's own tools such as Joule and selected partners. Prices for SAP's own AI units are also said to have risen by around 15 percent after the restriction. CISPE is calling on the EU Commission to reopen its dormant investigation into SAP support contracts. Broadcom remains rated red in the report.

SAP's September patch day closes four critical vulnerabilities

On its September patch day SAP published 19 new security notes, four of them rated critical. The most severe flaw, CVE-2026-44756 (CVSS 10.0) in SAP Extended Passport, can be exploited without authentication via a crafted network request and crashes the system. Further critical vulnerabilities affect SAP NetWeaver and the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model. No attacks have been reported so far, but administrators should apply the patches promptly.

Zeiss switches its SAP S/4HANA migration from greenfield to brownfield

Optics group Zeiss is realigning its SAP S/4HANA transformation. After spending around 200 million euros on a greenfield rebuild started in 2020, the company will now move its existing ERP landscape to SAP S/4HANA using a brownfield approach and add segment-specific applications on top. Zeiss expects faster progress and a better fit with the differing needs of its business segments.
